Join SSPP’s Legion of Mary Ministry

Try out our parish’s Legion of Mary ministry!  This group meets Mondays at 9 a.m. in the church office basement.  The mission of the Legion of Mary is to serve God through prayer, works, and meeting the spiritual needs of our parish and community.

Members do works that they are comfortable doing:  visiting the sick, homebound, shut-ins, and celebrating the sacraments by seeing those who have received them and making condolence calls to those who have lost loved ones.

This group welcomes new parishioners to our church and helps those who have fallen away from the faith, but who want to return.  They distribute religious materials, rosaries, and medals.

If you cannot join the group’s active ministry, you can be an auxiliary member!  These members say the rosary and Tesera prayer daily.  For more information, call Connie at 660-621-2787.  Our church needs you!
